📢 Tuesday 25 June, 12.30pm to 1.30pm
Join us live for the final Open Chat of the CERN Zone. On Tuesday 25 June, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm, drop into the Chat to meet the scientists working with CERN.
Discuss how their roles include real-world applications of your learning and get a better understanding of where studying physics can take you.
Go to the Chat ❯👋 Who’s coming to the Chat?
- Liam (ISOLDE) – a physicist based at the University of Liverpool. He uses CERN facilities to study radioactive or unstable isotopes
- Zak (LHCb) – a PhD student at the University of Bristol. He uses CERN facilities to measure how very rare and heavy particles decay.
- Chris (ISOLDE) – a PhD student at the University of York. He uses CERN facilities to make very precise measurements of the alpha, beta, and gamma decay.
