I work on the LHCb experiment, I mainly write code to analyse data from collisions that produce muons

Muons are a type of particle, they’re like a heavier version of electrons. Recently, we’ve seen some evidence that they don’t behave exactly how we’d expect. So we’re studying them in more detail to see what’s going on, it may lead to some new theories in particle physics!
