The AEgIS (Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy) team are working on one of the experiments at the Antimatter Factory, researching the universal matter-antimatter imbalance.

AEgIS is much more than a team, it is an experiment taking place at the CERN facility. It’s primary goal is to measure the effect of Earth’s gravitational field on antihydrogen atoms with significant precision. One of the most exciting things about the AEgIS experiment is that it involves a collaboration between physicists from all over Europe.
